Can You Come to Kwik Fit Without an Appointment?
Kwik Fit | Monday 10th March 2025 10:48am

Car acting up? Problem with your tyres? If you need to bring your car into your local Kwik Fit for some essential maintenance or an emergency fix, do you need to book an appointment?
To answer simply: not always, no.
You can technically visit any of Kwik Fit’s centres without booking an appointment first, though waiting times may differ between centres. Many of our services — such as our free tyre check and vehicle safety check — are available on a drive-in basis. However, for more intensive services like MOTs and servicing, and to guarantee getting your car seen in good time, booking an appointment in advance is always a good idea.
When it comes to vehicle maintenance, convenience is key — and that's exactly what Kwik Fit offers.

Do you need an appointment at Kwik Fit?
All of our Kwik Fit centres across the UK accept walk-in customers for a core range of quick-fix services. However, availability and waiting times depend on the location and the service type. Some services can be completed on the spot, while others may require a short wait.
For longer, more extensive appointments like major repairs and full servicing, we recommend that an appointment be booked in advance to guarantee that your vehicle gets seen, even in busy periods. In all cases, our expert technicians always aim to provide a fast, efficient service for our customers.
For a detailed breakdown of which of our services are likely to require an appointment, please refer to the tables below.
