Your feedback from July – car trouble needn’t ruin your holiday
Kwik Fit | Monday 4th August 2014 8:00am
Every month, we receive hundreds of messages from customers expressing their thanks for the service they have received, either at one of our 650 centres nationwide or from one of our mobile fitters.
This month, many drivers were off on their summer holidays but many a trip was put in jeopardy due to car trouble. Our centre teams have been working hard to get you back on the road. Here’s just a few of the holiday-makers who wrote to us to express their thanks for getting their holiday back on track.
Mr L - Brightlingsea
“I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at your Billericay garage. We were on our way to the Channel Tunnel, fully loaded, when we had a puncture. The AA took us to Radford Way to have the tyre mended but in the end we needed two new tyres and two new back springs. Parts were obtained and fitted as quickly as possible and we were kept comfortable in the air-con waiting area with on-tap coffee etc. All the chaps were very friendly and helpful. I also noticed that no matter how busy they were - and people/cars were coming and going all the time - the telephone was always answered within a couple of rings. We were very impressed. Please pass on our thanks to them all.”

“Excellent efficient service, even noticed our other tyres needed doing especially before travelling to France on holiday. As a motability customer I appreciate the extra trouble this gentleman took. Thank you.”

Mrs W - Towcester
“While visiting relatives in Hopkinstown we had cause to visit Kwik Fit. The AA thought it was a problem with either the exhaust or the catalytic converter. We were due to return to Milton Keynes via a hotel break in Gloucestershire on the way home that day,

Dr W – Houghton Le Spring
“We were travelling from Orkney to Durham and a brake disc dust shield had come loose and was rubbing on the disc and rattling. We arrived at the Inverness branch at 3:59pm on Sunday as they were about to close at 4pm. The staff were very helpful and despite the time, quickly removed the wheel and cleared the broken plate (free of charge) and got us on our way to complete the last 290 miles of our journey with no further issues! Definitely above and beyond, especially considering another large UK-wide tyre and service chain in the area (also due to close at 4pm) turned us away at about 3:55pm because they were closing!”
